Who are you?
Currently, I am Nike Metcalf. Who I will be in the future is undetermined, but hopefully an improved person.
What mediums do you work in?
Mainly for right now while I still have it free via school the Adobe Suite, and I’ve gravitated towards watercolor & ink for more traditional work. Also looking to buy a sewing machine soon!
How do you approach your work?
I try and be as caring with my work as possible. Obviously, as a human we are bound to make mistakes, so I do make those mistakes. I have put myself to a dangerously high level of stress due to not wanting to making those mistakes, and possibly hurting someone, but I’ve come to an understanding that it would only make things worse in the long-run.
How are you queer?
I am neither cisgender or heterosexual/romantic. My identities as a queer person sometimes confuses people as it is so out of most people’s frameworks. I don’t feel any romantic or sexual attraction, and have a very loose sense of my gender and the performance of it. But to put it plainly I’m aroace and transmasculine and non-binary. Although sadly the device you are reading this on is sadly binary.
