In my internship’s final project, me and 3 others are constructing a student guide. For my portion, I am the character designer & illustrator. So, I made our school’s mascot (as this is for the Marketing & Communication department) a magical girl. I also helped conceptualize an early 2000s vibe for the guide!
For this one, I practically did the same, kinda wanting it to have a sick/ill feeling. So I used darker muddy colors to achieve that.
For this project, I was really struggling to come up with a concept. At first, I was making a really beige sad Christmas, but I didn’t like it at all. So, I was stuck. Although, when I went to a haunted house close to Niagara Falls, there were lights that made a really weird effect in my eyes, so I wanted to recreate that feeling.
I created this video in my animation class for an abstract animation project. I was really into Numb by Marina & The Diamonds (Happy Birthday Electra Heart) and I knew I wanted to create something inspired by that! In the song she talks about a golden light getting her out of the numbness she feels and I based it all around that. I keyframed the wave texture and colors to get this effect!

In Bromadia, the castle is always in some sort of chaos, either because the lamb was over-cooked or something much more serious. Due to all of these issues (including a royal guard being unjustly fired), the people of the kingdom have reasonably asked for justice for the people who have been hurt by the crown. As Freya Palmer- the Head Guard of Bromadia- finds a way to help out her previous subordinate, she has to balance work and the Justice For All Meetings.
